Top notch musicianship and vocals, and expert event management
K Street Union just played for my son’s wedding and the guests were universal in their opinion that the band was absolutely the best they have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not only were the musicianship and vocals top notch, and the band’s energy level and enthusiasm off the charts, but Karla, the bandleader, did just a superb job managing the flow of the entire evening. I am a musician myself, and have heard countless bands perform, but it’s no exaggeration that K Street Union truly stands out among the best bands I have heard. I would recommend them with no hesitation whatsoever.

Karla and her band were amazing!!!! Working with Karla (bandleader) was a completely seamless process. I loved all their recommendations. First dance songs and special requests were executed perfectly. They kept the party going all night long and played the best music. Someone said throughout the night that they were in awe over the age range of people on the dance floor. It was truly super special. I can’t wait to attend another wedding one day as a guest. Love you guys!!

Working with Karla was easy, flexible and enjoyable. The band was open to learning new songs and really pulled out all of the stops when we asked if they would learn and accompany my father-in-law (a pianist) to play our first dance. It was incredibly special for us and our guests. After the first dance, they read the room and provided exactly what our guests wanted to hear. We loved working with Karla and would recommend the band without hesitation for an event!

We are still hearing from people about how amazing they were and they sure kept the dance floor packed all night long. We were truly so lucky to find them! Karla was a huge help when it came to song selection for our ceremony. Since we didn’t get to hear the band before we booked (just saw videos on YouTube – Karla is sensational!). If you are looking for a high energy and incredibly talented band, Karla and her band are definitely the one to go with!

Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how fabulous they were. The band makes the party and they really did. I said goodbye to two of our guest who were planing on leaving about half an hour before the event ended and then I saw them five minutes later on the dance floor. The band was too good and they didn’t want to leave.

Everything was a huge success. Our group really enjoyed Karla and the band. Thank you for noting to reach out next yr. If we should have any events between now and then, I will be sure to reach out. Just a side note, we are based in Colorado and host our Holiday offsite at a different venue each year. While there are no guarantees that we will return to DC, we sure do hope to.

Talented musicians...couldn't stop raving
When I was planning my party I was quite positive that I was going to hire a DJ. I didn’t think I would be able to find a band who could play a variety of music. I enjoy listening to music from Etta James to Prince. I also wanted someone who could get the crowd moving and dancing. I was floored when I first hear Karla, she has an incredible voice. She has this natural groove and you can tell she just loves what she does. Additionally, she is a complete professional from responding to my e-mails in a timely fashion to hiring talented musicians. After the party, my friends couldn’t stop raving about Karla; she is incredibly talented and exudes great enthusiasm.
