DJ Drew Plays at Girls’ Night Out DC
Washingtonians have continuously enjoyed one of the best charity events in the city- Shawn Yancy’s annual Girls’ Night Out DC. This year, we were honored to be asked to take part in the event. Entertainment Exchange sent over DJ Drew and his funky tunes! He reported back and we can confidently say the night was a success.
Girl’s Night Out (GNO) brought in many familiar DC faces. In attendance were news anchors, socialites (like one of the Real Housewives of Potomac) and other notables. Crowds gathered in Pepco Edison Place Gallery in downtown Washington, DC as the night began.
Local vendors, like SugarChef Desserts, Curvy Chix Chariot, and Framed Leather, and many other’s came to support the cause.
The Pepco Edison Place Gallery made a beautiful backdrop. Guests happily socialized, mingled and bonded with each other.
“The event was great and for such a worthwhile cause. Women enjoying themselves and the company of each other,” Kym Short-Elder, program manager at the National Park Service, said.
DJ Drew began his set and chatter was put aside as the floor filled with dancing.
Attendees of Girls’ Night Out DC left happy knowing the supported local poverty alleviation efforts. Donations went to A Wider Circle.
“Your donations will make a difference to women and families right here in our community,” host Shawn Yancy said.
