Vickie Preston, the Director of the Entertainment Exchange Baltimore Office was named Vice President of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) Baltimore Chapter.
Vickie has been in the Entertainment and Special Events industry for 12 years. She joined the Baltimore Chapter of NACE in 1997 when she opened the doors to Sounds Perfect Entertainment. Seven years ago Vickie merged with the Entertainment Exchange in Bethesda, maintaining the Baltimore office.
Vickie has served on the Baltimore NACE Board of Directors for the past 10 years in various capacities; Director of Membership, Program Chair, Hospitality and Affiliate Representative. Vickie also held the position of Affiliate Representative on the NACE National Chapter President Council in 2002. Vickie was a speaker at three NACE Leadership Conferences over the years and has attended the majority of both the NACE Leadership and Educational conferences over the past 12 years. She has also donated her time as a committee member for the Holiday Bash for the past 4 years, supporting the National Academy Foundation High School in Baltimore.
She received the Affiliate Member of the Year Award at the NACE National Conference in Charleston in July 2002 and the NACE National President’s Award in 2009.
